Been a little while since the last proper attack, not that I'm complaining, of course...

Ma and Pa had high hopes for me when I was growing up. Wanted me to become a Daeva. "Save the people," they'd say. "Fight for something, Sammy!"

I took up arms when I was young. Soon I was talented with a sword, but the call never came--I never ascended. It wasn't all bad, though. I got to stand up for myself, and look at me now... a member of the Tolbas Watch!

I might not be staving off crazed Asmodians, but I'll tell you something: Those Kobolds can pack quite a punch when they get all riled up! And as for those Frillnecks... well...

I'm better off here, defending my home. Pa would like this.
