Ah, welcome to the forest, Daeva! Have you ever seen such splendors? Such beauteous wonders?

I research the ecology of Tolbas Forest. My goal is to explore this rich ecosystem--to clearly hear the heartbeat of nature.

Some think me rather strange for taking such pleasure in my work, but the simple truth is, I love it here. The forest feeds me, and I sleep comfortably in its embrace. I want for nothing.

Funny you should ask, as recently my work has taken on a more urgent tone.

The forest has changed. Bizarre creatures, the likes of which I have never seen in all my years of study, are emerging from its depths.

As a researcher, I am fascinated, and indeed greatly pleased to see such an abundance of new life. But as a citizen, it troubles me. These strange developments do not bode well for the region.
