Zone 1 is the ring between the outer and inner walls of the fortress. It is the area that sees the most hand to hand combat, and so greater forces there are a big plus.

You will need 12 Blood Marks to get some mercenaries there, but it is a diverse force.

2 Gladiators, 2 Sorcerers, and 2 Rangers are provided. Enough to handle any arrangement of enemy forces. Sound like a good deal?

Zone 2 is the inner castle wall. It is best for ranged defenders, but then you know that.

I can get you 10 Rangers to man the wall, but that many doesn't come cheap.

We're asking 20 Blood Marks. So, do we have a deal?

Zone 3 includes the front and rear gates of the fortress. Those cannons for defense.

I can get you four. Two for each gate at a cost of only 12 Blood Marks. That is special Legion pricing.

It is really the best protection against anything the enemy can throw at you. How about it?
