It's my duty to remind you that you must have an Aetheric Field Fragment to use an Aetheric Field Corridor.

We now know that the Aetheric Field Fragments are keys used to activate those massive Aetheric Field Stones, but the Expedition didn't find this out for some time.
It was only after we discovered the disputed territories that we started making sense of things.
And we still don't know exactly where one goes when they enter an Aetheric Field Corridor... we just know it takes you somewhere....
