You know he still lives, your character? In a manner of speaking, anyway. He was a mighty Balaur warrior who somehow managed to breach the Aetheric Field and invade Eltnen.

Our finest Guardians were sent to stop him, but whole Legions fell before him. Eventually he was defeated, but as he was ripped apart by the wildlife we discovered something incredible.

It was Sataloca's Heart! It carried on beating even after it had been torn from the corpse.

Of course, we were terrified. Sataloca was one of the oldest of the Balaur, and it appeared he was blessed with immortality just as our Daevas are. The ramifications were astonishing.

We convened to decide the best course of action, and agreed to seal the heart away with Kimeia constantly guarding it.

Kimeia is far from ordinary, your character. She is incredibly sensitive to the flow of Aether, and has demonstrated remarkable skill when dealing with the Balaur before.

I have seen her pull the wind from beneath the Balaur, sending them crashing to the ground. I have seen her scatter battle lines with her mere presence.

Now Kimeia has need of your services, your character. I do not know what for, but I am sure she is looking to test your abilities. You should hurry: Sataloca's Tomb is quite a walk.
