Take Flame Essence from Flame Spirits to Garperos so that he can upgrade your Fire Sword.

After checking the Fire Sword you were carrying, Garperos concluded it had lost most of its fire energy, and would no longer work well.

As he instructed, you hunted Flame Spirits and took their Flame Essence to Garperos, who upgraded the Fire Sword to the Flame Sword.
