7. Talk to Aetheric Field Observatory Protector Tumblusen and receive the Eltnen Ide Detection Device.

8. Use the Eltnen Ide Detection Device near the Eltnen Abyss Gate.

9. Go to the Aetheric Field Observatory Protector Tumblusen and talk to him again.

You did as he said and used the device near the Abyss Gate in Poeta, but nothing happened. The device also didn't react near the gate in Verteron.

However, when you used the detection device at the gate in Eltnen, it gave a reading. The Abyss Gate in Eltnen was active. With the help of Aetheric Field Observatory Protector Aeolus, you entered the gate and discovered that the Beritra Army was using a large teleport device to get Hyperion through the dimensions.

You killed the Balaur and destroyed the teleport device, to Fasimedes' relief.
