You may have heard of or admired Daevanion gear, but know now that it comes at a heavy price. The term "soul-infused" is not a flowery metaphor, Daeva.

Daevanion gear is made by imparting a bit of the user's soul into a material. You may think your shoes fit well now, but they are nothing more than their materials.

Your Daevanion gear will respond to you, help you, empower you. When you die, your gear may go with you. Just like with the blessed Agent Killios...

As you may have gathered, this is not a simple process. First, we must retrieve a prototype. That's fairly painless.

Then, we must infuse the prototype. Agent Rike will help you with the soul infusion ritual.

Trust me... it's not as unpleasant as it sounds.

Let's start from the bottom, shall we? Imagine how fleet-footed you could be with soul infused soles. I will help you, but first you must find the materials.

You need to get a Kaisinel's Pattern of Perception, a Kaisinel's Pattern of Mobility, and a Kaisinel's Pattern of Endurance.

Potencia should help you find what you need. I'll tell her to expect you.

(Epaion deftly embroiders the three patterns on the shoe prototype. His fingers move quickly as his eyes narrow in concentration.)

(A golden light glows brightly along the patterns. Soon after, the light ebbs and fades away.)

I haven't worked that quickly in ages, especially with someone staring and breathing on me the entire time. My work is done, Daeva.

Take this fine foot gear to Agent Rike. She shall help you with the soul infusion.

You seem nervous, Daeva. If you are to serve Lord Kaisinel, you need the most blessed gear.

Control your breathing. I will begin the ritual to infuse the Daevanion shoes with your soul, your divine energy, and the Empyrean Lord's blessing. Are you ready, your character?

(Rike closes her eyes and reaches out with her long fingertips while chanting a spell.)

(With a flare of scorching heat, glowing tendrils of light reach outward from your body to form a mass of energy in front of Rike's hands.)

(When Rike raises her hands, the mass of energy floats up and into the Daevanion shoes. You open your hands as the shoes float into your reach.)

At the request of Agent Rike, talk with Epaion and craft a soul-infused gear piece.

Rike, one of Kaisinel's agents, instructed you to craft soul-infused Daevanion gear with Epaion's help.

Epaion said crafting soul-infused gear requires preparing a prototype of the Daevanion equipment.

He then told you to bring him a Kaisinel's Patterns of Perception, Mobility, and Endurance.

When you obtained the patterns for Epaion, he crafted a Daevanion shoe prototype for you and sent you to Rike for the soul infusion ritual.

Rike conducted the soul infusion ritual and finished your Daevanion shoes.
