Though the path of Empyrean Lord Kaisinel is a rewarding one, it is certainly not easy. The demands are great, the price high, and it can be difficult for even a Daeva to achieve the physical prowess needed to serve and protect the Elyos.

But there is still hope. We of the Kaisinel's Wings use specialized gear to enhance our abilities and grant us greater resources in battle.

Members of the Kaisinel's Wings use a special type of equipment, known as Daevanion gear.

Daevanion gear is crafted specifically for each individual Daeva, and is then bound to the wearer's essence. This is different from a Soul Binding ritual, though no less powerful. The item itself is infused with the power of its user. This, combined with the enchantments placed on the item, allows the Daeva to unlock greater potential in battle.

Depending on how much of the Daeva's essence is used, the armor or weapon may sometimes be destroyed when the Daeva it was bound to dies.... Like the weapon that belonged to Agent Killios.

When I say "essence," I am referring to the energy that makes you a Daeva. Aion's power, and the ferocity with which you use that power. The battles you've fought in Aion's name, whether you've won or lost. Your oneness with the Aether. All the things that are a part of who you are.

First, the item is crafted with the Daeva in mind. Then, we perform a ritual to infuse the item with the Daeva's essence. In this case, the ritual will be carried out by Agent Rike.

Now, then... If you're interested, should we start gathering the materials we need?

Hmm. Speed is always important on the battlefield--shall we begin by crafting you some Daevanion shoes?

The materials you need to get are a Kaisinel's Pattern of Perception, a Kaisinel's Pattern of Mobility, and a Kaisinel's Pattern of Endurance.

Ask Potencia about how you can obtain those patterns. She will explain it to you in detail.

If you recall, you need three types of patterns to craft a Daevanion item.

Take them to Agent Rike for the Daevanion ritual.

The divine energy that has accumulated in your body and mind throughout your life as a Daeva will become one with the Daevanion shoes. When the ritual ends, you will have a pair of finely-crafted footwear that will last you all your life, your character.

I presume that Epaion has explained the ritual to you.

Daevanion gear is born of the divine energy that exists in the body and mind of a Daeva. Not even the finest of materials can measure up to that.

I will start the ritual to infuse the Daevanion gear with your divine energy and the Empyrean Lord's blessing. Are you ready, your character?

Agent Rike sent you to talk with Epaion and craft a piece of Daevanion gear.

Rike, an Agent of Kaisinel, said you need greater abilities to become an Empyrean Lord's Protector. She sent you to craft Daevanion gear, with Epaion's help.

Epaion said crafting Daevanion gear requires preparing a piece of the Daevanion equipment and infusing it with the Daeva's essence through a ritual. He then told you to bring him a Kaisinel's Pattern of Perception, a Kaisinel's Pattern of Mobility, and a Kaisinel's Pattern of Mobility to craft the Daevanion gear.

When you obtained the patterns for Epaion, he crafted a pair of Daevanion shoes for you and sent you to Rike for the ritual, which worked perfectly.
