Dialog
Ah, if it isn't your character.
I've been waiting for a dependable Daeva and you're just the right one!
The winds of change are blowing in the Abyss right now. Nothing is what it was before.
You may have already noticed it on your way to Redemption Landing, but this is no longer the same Abyss you know from the past.
Dialog
Yeah, well, the Balaur aren't the same, either. Don't underestimate them.
You'll have plenty to keep you busy here, your character.
Check in with Strategy Officer Kirwan--she'll update you on the situation and assign you your tasks.
Quickly, go and see her.
Dialog
Welcome, Daeva.
Seeing you standing here, I feel as if a thousand troops have come to reinforce us, your character. The Abyss has been quiet for a while, but a cold wind is beginning to blow.
The Abyss has been quiet for awhile now, but a cold wind is beginning to blow.
The Ereshkigal Legion has appeared out of nowhere--and in force--while the Beritra Legion was pushed to the outer regions.
And on top of that, there's something strange about the Balaur Legions camped in the Upper Abyss...
Dialog
I'm not exactly certain, and that's part of the problem. We just know that there's some sort of strange vibe coming off of them...
Our opportunity for scouting so far has been limited. The Ereshkigal Legion has mainly been seen on the six islands located in the Nebula of Burning Blood, but we still do not know much about them.
I think your first mission will involve obtaining some intel, your character.
Go to Buard. We've got a Detachment of Daevas already doing some scouting. He'll tell you where you can go to meet up with them.
Dialog
Welcome, your character. If you're inquiring about the Detachment, it has already departed.
Our Redeemer's Wing Legion, commanded by Centurion Ferriere, is assessing the situation here in Upper Reshanta.
Dialog
Before he left, he told me to give orders to the Daeva that Officer Kirwan sent to us to investigate the Ruins of Roah before joining him.
So go to the Roah Fortress to obtain Proof of Fortress Change. Then take that to Lagund. He'll direct you on where to go from there.
Lagund will let you know what to do after.
You never know what might happen outside of Redemption Landing, so don't forget to bind to an Obelisk.
Dialog
You must be your character, aren't you? They've mentioned you. It's so nice to meet you.
I hear you're here to investigate the Ruins of Roah. Did you get the chance to scout the fortress?
Did you find anything unusual?
Check User Item Ok
Aha! This could clue us in on some of the more puzzling details!
I couldn't tell what was going on up there, but it seemed pretty odd.
I knew something was amiss when the facilities in the fortress started to fail.
Hold on, let me examine this more closely.
Check User Item Fail
What have you to show me, Daeva?
No updates from the Ruins of Roah? We need intel if we're to succeed out here!
Please go to the Roah Fortress and return with the Proof of Fortress Change.
Dialog
From what I can tell, some supplies of the Beritra Legion were left abandoned and Ereshkigal bombs were used to destroy the fortress control device, but I find it difficult to understand.
Why would the Ereshkigal Legion cripple the fortress? What better place to keep the enemy in check?
Then again, on the other hand, maybe they've just neutralized something that could have been used to keep THEM in check...
It mostly makes sense if they didn't intend to use the fortress themselves. Perhaps they intend to concentrate their forces around the Krotan, Miren, and Kysis Fortresses. Then, they would need to eliminate any nearby threats in advance.
Dialog
If we're correct, then it's the most strategy we've ever seen from Balaur before. I knew there was something different with the Ereshkigal Legion...
I'd better inform the higher-ups about this. I'll head back to Redemption Landing.
Please go find Centurion Ferriere and update him on our discovery, your character.
On the way, could you check In front of Krotan Refuge and scout the situation there?
Dialog
Are you your character?
I assumed Lagund would accompany you, but you came all the way here alone!
The path to the Eye is blocked by a thick layer of ice.
I heard you tried to remove that thick layer of ice, but normal heat wasn't enough.
Someone must've used an incredibly powerful spell to seal it.
I wanted more time to investigate, but with such a large force of the Ereshkigal Legion arriving, we had to retreat.
your character, please hurry and let Kirwan know what you found out.
Dialog
Are you all right, your character?
I'm so relieved to see you back safely. I heard about the ambush. A close shave indeed...
Reports from Centurion Ferriere and his say that the situation in Upper Reshanta is quite dire.
Dialog
Having been out there, you probably know better than I do, but the Ereshkigal Legion is expanding their influence outwards from the three fortress in the Nebula of Burning Blood.
They've neutralized the Ruins of Roah and Asteria Fortress, so those are no longer obstacles for them.
Meanwhile, they've been building bases all over the place and redistributing the artifacts to expand their strength.
Well, we've got Redemption Landing here to throw a wrench in their plans.
General Giscours is waiting to discuss all this, so report to him directly.
Progress
What's going on out there?
When Ferriere has to call for a retreat, it must be something dire.
Reward
That was truly a dangerous mission you've undertaken! I'm so glad to see you back safely.
Redemption Landing will play an incredibly important role from here on out.
It's hard to say when the Ereshkigal Legion will finally make their way here, but their expansion means that the return of Ereshkigal is imminent. We must take action to prevent that from becoming a dark reality.
We can't just watch and let that huge threat come true.
your character, we retreated today so we can advance tomorrow. I'll be relying on you to keep up your efforts and lead us to victory.

Orders: Go to Redemption Landing in Upper Reshanta and carry out the mission given by Brigade General Giscours.
Complete
Brigade General Giscours at Redemption Landing in Reshanta said that the Balaur Legions in the Abyss have undergone a great change, and he ordered you to assess the situation in the Abyss.
Guided by Centurion Kirwan, you followed the tracks of the Detachment to the Ruins of Roah Fortress and took the Evidence of Changes to Lagund.
After examining the evidence you brought, Lagund surmised that the Ereshkigal Legion had crippled the Ruins of Roah Fortress. He asked you to relay the findings to Centurion Ferriere.
Centurion Ferriere at Redemption Landing told you that the road to the Eye is impassable.
Centurion Kirwan said that from the intel gathered so far, the Ereshkigal Legion is far stronger than expected and they seem to be expanding their influence centered around the Upper Abyss.
Upon receiving your report, Brigade General Giscours said the expansion of the Ereshkigal Legions means the return of Ereshkigal herself, and that the Elyos must regroup at Redemption Landing to keep the Ereshkigal Legion in check.
