Offer

Aha, here it is!

It seems that while you were gone, Tillen contacted his higher-ups in Sanctum. A lot of discussion followed before he got orders from some of the top generals.

Ask Quest Accept

ask_quest_accept

And they want to restore Tiamat's Power. They feel that if we're able to study or wield it, we could gain a huge advantage.

I'm not entirely sure it's wise, but orders are orders. And I must admit the idea is quite tempting....

What do you think, your character? You've come this far. Are you willing to see this through to the end?

Quest Accept 1

quest_accept_1

Then I'll inform Sanctum that you've taken on the task.

Here are the Blade Fragments back. Take them to Tillen. He'll tell you what you need to do with them.

"Let's hope this is the right thing...."

Quest Refuse 1

quest_refuse_1

I understand exactly how you feel. Meddling with the power of a Dragon Lord for our own purposes...doesn't seem right somehow.

But I do understand the logic. If we understand Tiamat's power, defeating him should be significantly easier.

Well, Sanctum will need to know to assign this to another Daeva. They may want you to brief him or her beforehand.

"Anything Tiamat is bad news."

Welcome back. You've caused yet another stir in Sanctum with your discoveries. You seem to be doing that a lot.

I have to admit, I'm curious.... Do you mind if I take a look at these Blade Fragments of yours?

Dialog

select1_1

Oh. My. The feelings this power stirs within me... Yes, this was definitely forged by a Dragon Lord.

Whew. You learn about these kinds of things in the classroom, but to actually experience it in person...

Ahem. At any rate, I need you to see Ukon, the smith. He already has the hilt and can tell you what needs to be done.

"Let's hope this gets easier."

Dialog

Arieluma. Tillen has already briefed me on what needs to be done. Frankly, it's not going to get any easier.

Though I must admit, I'm quite excited. To work on something forged by a Dragon Lord....

I was told you'd have some pieces of blade for me?

Dialog

select2_1

Incredible! I hate the Balaur and everything they stand for, but they do make a fine weapon.

And this power...is this the power of a Dragon Lord? If you're not at least a little frightened by it, you're a fool.

Off to work, then. This won't take but a moment.

Dialog

select2_1_1

And...there! Look at that! Not a blemish to show that it was ever broken! Anyone could reforge it, but only a master like me could do it so well.

Unfortunately, the shattering caused a power drain. Sanctum suggested you take the sword to Lower Udas Temple and defeat Debilkarim the Maker to solve that problem.

The surge of energy produced by Debilkarim's defeat is apparently enough to "light the spark" within Tiamat's Power. Good luck!

"Thanks. I'll not need it, though."

Progress

select_success

My instincts prickled not too long ago. Most of the Daevas here felt it.

They weren't sure what it was, but I knew. It was a feeling of power renewed. Tiamat's power, I'll wager.

I assume that means your quest was a success.

Reward

select_quest_reward1

Amazing. To even hold such a thing.... And best of all, Tiamat can't use it to spy on us, as Surama took care of that already!

Veille needs to see this. She'll know what the Seraphim Lords wish to be done with it now.

Ah, your reward. None of these weapons quite match up to Tiamat's Power, but they are mighty nonetheless. Take one with great thanks.

Summary

quest_summary
  1. Take Blade Fragments to Tillen.

  2. Take Blade Fragments to Ukon.

  3. Go to Lower Udas Temple and defeat Debilkarim the Maker .

  4. Take the Shining Tiamat's Power to Tillen.

You have been asked to restore the sword Tiamat's Power. Do whatever you need to in order to succeed.

Complete

quest_complete

Daidra sent you and your Blade Fragments to Centurion Tillen, who in turn sent you to master blacksmith Ukon.

Ukon reforged the sword, but said it had lost most of its power. You had to defeat Debilkarim the Maker in Lower Udas Temple to restore it completely.

You killed Debilkarim and took the fully restored Tiamat's Power back to Tillen. He praised you mightily and gave you a generous reward.
