Dialog

select1

Clearly you hunger to improve yourself, your character. I don't question that it's your purpose.

But you must ask yourself: How you wish to improve?

Ask Quest Accept

ask_quest_accept

To understand my meaning, you will first have to ask more questions.

Quest Accept 1

quest_accept_1

When you first ascended, you made a choice, and that choice has defined you.

You chose the way of the your class. Yet are you still that your class?

Speak with your Class Preceptors. Ask them the questions you have been asking me, and see if the answers satisfy.

"I hope they do."

Quest Refuse 1

quest_refuse_1

You have forever to seek answers, Daeva. Though you grow weary now, some day you will be curious again.

Though it be ten minutes or ten thousand years, you shall return. I know.

"Then I'll see you in ten thousand years."

Dialog

select2

You're not here for training, so what is it?

Dialog

select2_1

The meaning of life is battle and glory. When I feel my strikes breaking bone and flesh, I'm happy.

When I defeat my enemies, I find purpose.

Dialog

select2_1_1

That's all there is for a Warrior. Daevas like us find our purpose in war.

"Thank you for your candor."

Dialog

select2_2

Perhaps you should ask the your class preceptor. I don't think much about such things.

"Very well."

Dialog

select3

What business have you with me? New poisons to share? Stories to tell?

Dialog

select3_1

The meaning of life? That's what you came to ask? Well, no matter what anyone else tells you, the meaning of life is to have fun.

Dialog

select3_1_1

I've been a Scout for centuries, and there's no better feeling than the thrill of the hunt and the rush of close combat.

And the celebrations afterward, of course. To me, that's life.

"Thanks for your insight."

Dialog

select3_2

Why don't you ask the your class preceptor, your character?

"Very well."

Dialog

select4

You've returned, and not for training. What have you come to talk about?

Dialog

select4_1

Everyone asks themselves that very question. I'm of the opinion that the answer is knowledge.

There's always more to learn, after all.

Dialog

select4_1_1

All a Mage needs is knowledge. Knowledge, to us, is literally power. And what greater goal could there be than to become the most powerful Mage in Atreia?

"Thank you for your candor."

Dialog

select4_2

You overestimate my knowledge! Perhaps ask the your class preceptor instead, and they can answer better than I.

"Very well."

Dialog

select5

What have you come to speak about?

Dialog

select5_1

Duty and responsibility. Service. Helping others. These are what keep our glorious civilization together.

Dialog

select5_1_1

A Priest must practice sacrifice and compassion. We must devote our entire lives to the service of Elysea.

"Thank you for your candor."

Dialog

select5_2

I'm not certain I can help you. Perhaps talk to the your class preceptor?

"Very well."

Dialog

select5_3

Be wary of sneaking up on Technists. We're liable to blow a hole in your head as soon as help you.

Now, what do want?

Dialog

select5_3_1

Haha, wow. Is that all?

Sorry, kid, I'm not much of a philosopher. I guess if you pressed me, I'd say we're all here to find our own path in life.

Dialog

select5_3_1_1

What more could you want? A technist doesn't have to answer to anyone. Even when you carry out your orders, you're making a choice to obey, each and every time. Remember that and you'll go far.

"Thank you for your candor."

Dialog

select5_3_2

You'd be better off asking the your class preceptor. My advice is really kinda technist-specific.?

"Very well."

Dialog

select5_4

Ah! An audience for my new ballad perhaps? Or would you rather a recitation of a poem? I know several from the Elysean Annals--

Dialog

select5_4_1

Ah, an age-old question. There was an epic poem written in Ancient Atreian that had some words of wisdom, but I'm not sure we have the time. Besides, it doesn't translate all that well.

For myself, I find comfort in knowing that I bring beauty and joy into the lives of my fellow Daevas. That I can rally their spirits with a song.

Dialog

select5_4_1_1

All? Don't let those Guardians get to you. Our art is every bit as important to life in Atreia as their brawn.

Can you imagine how dreary it would be if not a single muse remained. Can you imagine life before we existed? No, art and beauty make life worth living.

"Thank you for your candor."

Dialog

select5_4_2

I'm afraid my wisdom is only of use to the skilled muse, and you're a little too old to develop those talents now. Perhaps the your class preceptor would have more to offer.

"Very well."

Dialog

select6

And what did your preceptor have to offer you?

Dialog

select6_1

And is that the meaning that satisfies you? Is that enough to hold you through eternity?

What if I told you there was something higher, purer to devote yourself to?

Dialog

select6_1_1

Aion's power, imbued directly in the physical world. Daevanion armor, so beautiful it will make you weep to look upon it.

And stronger than anything else in the world. But only a truly devoted Daeva will ever have all five pieces....

"And that is my purpose?"

Dialog

select7

It would be a long, arduous path to walk, but each piece you obtain will fill you with joy as you've never known before.

Wearing it, you'll feel embraced by the pure love of Aion.

Would you walk that path? Or would you rather remain devoted to the way of the your class?

Dialog

select7_1

The first step to making Daevanion Armor is to understand that Aion's purpose for you is as a protector.

You must obtain the enlightenment of endless battles, fill yourself with Divine Power.

That energy comes from Aion. When your body glows with it, then we can infuse it into Daevanion Armor.

"I shall walk this path." "I'll stay my own course."

Dialog

select7_2

You shall remain a proud your class to the end? Perhaps that is your meaning of life, your character.

But if you feel that there is more, fill yourself with Divine Power and return to me.

Dialog

select8

Do you bear Aion's energy within you? Is your body filled with Divine Power?

Dialog

select8_2

You have not yet pushed yourself to the limit, your class. You must prove your faith in many more battles before you return.

"Very well."

Dialog

select9

Do you bear Aion's energy within you? Is your body filled with Divine Power?

Dialog

select9_2

You have not yet pushed yourself to the limit, your class. You must prove your faith in many more battles before you return.

"Very well."

Reward

select_quest_reward1

I shall infuse your Divine Power into this armor now. Bear it proudly, and Aion shall always be with you.

Reward

select_quest_reward2

I shall infuse your Divine Power into this armor, now. Bear it proudly, and Aion shall always be with you.
