Dialog

select1

Can you feel it? Feel it spreading through the Legion?

Fear...the most odious weakness of all. Fear has gained a toehold in our ranks.

I command a Legion of immortals, yet they still know fear. Not fear of death, but of something they see as worse...

Dialog

Voice: Q2073-1.ogg

They're starting to fear being captured. The prospect of eternal imprisonment can be fearsome to an immortal, of course, and we've suffered more than our share of captures recently.

But such fear is weakness! And the way to expunge it is to show our Legion that imprisonment is only a temporary condition.

In other words, you're going to engineer a prison break. Centurion Lakadi has the mission details.

"I'll go immediately."

Dialog

select2

The general picked you to rescue an imprisoned Legionary or two, eh?

I try to anticipate his orders, you know, so I've already sent out a rescue team. But you can probably join forces with them.

Dialog

select2_1
Voice: Q2073-2.ogg

Our captured comrades are on the Isle of Disgrace in the Sulfur Archipelago.

They're under close surveillance, so our rescue team hasn't made its move yet.

Go to the Krakon and meet Glati. She'll direct you further.

"On my way."

Dialog

select3

Centurion Lakadi told me you were coming. The rest of the rescue team is trying to infiltrate, but you might try the direct approach.

There are prisoners on the Isle of Disgrace, southeast of the Sulfur Archipelago. That part is straightforward.

But this rescue mission is more complicated than we thought.

Dialog

select3_1
Voice: Q2073-3.ogg

I'm not sure who controls the Sulfur Fortress, so I don't know what we're facing. If the Elyos have the fortress, our comrades should be confined on the Isle of Disgrace--no problems.

But if the Balaur have the fortress, they may have moved our comrades to make room for Elyos prisoners. We'd need to locate our Asmodian prisoners.

So it's a two-part mission: Check who occupies the fortress, then bust in and rescue Captured Asmodian Prisoners.

"The task is mine."

Dialog

select4

You came to rescue us!

We tried hard to escape, with so many enemies watching us...and unarmed...

Dialog

select4_1

Ready when you are, your character. When we rejoin the Legion, it's payback time for Asmodae's enemies!

The fastest way out is along the prison camp wall. There's a Magic Ward there--if we reach it, we're safe.

"Onward!"

Progress

select_success

Azphelumbra, your character.

You return unbloodied. Did you rescue our comrades imprisoned in the Isle of Disgrace?

Reward

select_quest_reward1

Well done, your character.

Brigade General Jebal will be most pleased.

And you've taught the Thunder Shout Legion a powerful lesson: we should not fear capture, because a rescue mission is never far away.

Complete

quest_complete

Jebal told you that his soldiers were captured, and asked you to work with Lakadi to rescue them.

Lakadi said he'd already dispatched rescuers, but you could join them. He told you to go to Glati in the Krakon, where the rescue team is based.

Glati said the prisoners were confined at the Isle of Disgrace, where many enemies were watching. You rescued the POWs and escorted them to the Magic Ward, where rest of the rescue team appeared and said that they would take the POWs to Primum Fortress.

When you came back to Lakadi, he said your efforts boosted the morale of the whole Legion.
