So far we've found unique traces of some substance left behind on the Scorched Tree, the Cindery Tree, and the Burnt Tree. If you investigate them and bring me back samples, we can understand this event more clearly.

If indeed it was Fregion who initiated the explosion, that explains where the bloodstains come from... and tells us the Dragon Lord is likely wounded.

The traces of Ide lead me to believe this was an experimentation gone very wrong.
