I've spent a lot of time looking at the Anair Lighthouse lately, Daeva. It used to light the way to Alukina's Palace, known now as the Floating Sea.

But since the Lighthouse stopped giving off light there is no safe way to get to Alukina's Palace. Think of the wonders still inside, left untouched for so long. I, for one, am convinced that pirates stole the Quartz Lens that used to refract the Lighthouse's light.

I'd love to have been there to confront them, but that was a long time ago. Most of the pirates are dead or too old to do much piracy now. They must have hid the Lens somewhere.

I know it sounds strange, but this place was not always as it is now. Even after all these years, I think I might have found a person to whom I can ask the whereabouts of the lens.

I heard that Baugi, now working as a vigilante, used to be a pirate in the past.

The correlation may be thin, but maybe this contact could reveal something about the whereabouts of the Lens. How would you like to help me investigate? Come now, solve this ancient mystery with me.

Near the pirate shipwreck in Anair Harbor is your best bet. If you can find Captain Hinden, you will be able to find some clues on the Quartz Lens. If you do find the Quartz Lens, I advise against taking it to Sleipnir right away. He isn't trustworthy. There is a sailor at the Lighthouse who has guarded it for a long time. Take the Lens there, and give my apologies.

2. Obtain the Quartz Lens from Captain Hinden and take it to Dojer in the Anair Lighthouse.

Sleipnir told you to ask Baugi about Alukina's Palace. Go to Baugi.

Sleipnir lamented that he could no longer reach Alukina's Palace because the Quartz Lens had disappeared from the Anair Lighthouse that used to light the way to the palace.

And he said that he was sure that the pirates stole the Quartz Lens, and told you to get some information from Baugi, who used to be a pirate in the past, and light the lighthouse again.

So you went to Baugi and he said that he thought it was done by Captain Hinden who used to dominate the sea in the past. At Baugi's request, you went to the pirate shipwreck and found the ghost of Captain Hinden.

You obtained the Quartz after defeating the ghost of Captain Hinden. When you took the lens to the lighthouse, the lighthouse lit up again.
