My job is to keep track of morale in the fortress and report to Nerita. Now, I've been a little busy with other things this week, so I haven't been able to give that job my full attention, but I know this much--people are pretty nervous.

The fortress has started collapsing again. Just last week a big piece fell down and killed a guy, so that's got everybody shaken up. I don't think we'll ever manage to clean up that blood stain on the flagstones.

No kidding. Now, I've still got a lot on my plate, but I need someone to go out and judge the mood in the fortress for certain.

You're a good people person, right?

There's really only three people whose opinions I want to hear.

A Sentinel--let's say Nornen. Ask her how many fragments have been falling lately--she patrols around a lot, so she'd know.

I'll want to hear from a Human resident, so...how about Regin? And then go talk to Bestla and see whether she's gotten any closer to solving the problem.

I'll just have to find the time to do it myself then. Blast!

Blood for blood, Daeva.

Well, let me put it this way--these days I look up at the sky instead of down at the ground when I patrol.

Nothing's fallen lately, but after last week...you never can tell.

A Daeva? I haven't done anything wrong! I pray every night, you know!

I'm real nervous about it. I've been praying to Marchutan every night that nothing lands on me.

I told them--I'm a Daeva of Construction, not a Daeva of Time and Space. Of course I can tell you the fortress is falling apart! Anyone with eyes can see that!

The problem's with the Artifact of Time and Space, and I have no clue how to fix that!

Sounds real bad. I hope we get the Artifact fixed soon. We should've repaired this place a long time ago, but I guess all the Brigade Generals kept figuring the Artifact would hold things up forever...
