Skuldun, an Agent of Marchutan, said you need greater abilities to become an Empyrean Lord's Protector. He sent you to craft Daevanion gear, with Kamfina's help.

Kamfina said crafting Daevanion gear requires preparing a piece of the Daevanion equipment and infusing it with the Daeva's essence through a ritual. She then told you to bring her a Pattern of Tenacity to craft the Daevanion gear.

When you obtained the pattern for Kamfina, she crafted a pair of Daevanion gloves for you and sent you to Skuldun for the ritual, which worked perfectly.
