Dialog
Azphelumbra!
I rely on my Centurions to know their troops. They must have good combat skills but they must also show excellent leadership and organization.
But I have a problem with one of my Centurions and frankly Daeva, this problem is not one I want to deal with.
Dialog
I promoted Amundi, who has long served in the legion, to Centurion, but rather than promoting cooperation amongst the troops he has stirred unrest. I hear daily of his hostility and incompetence, and the blasted thing is, he's misplaced my sister's daughter!
I counted on his experience but this is...shatter it! I'd rather lose my wings than tell my sister that Gjalf is lost!
This is absurd! I won't stand for it!
Ask Quest Accept
You're not joking! Now Amundi is frightened out of his wits, so I have no choice but to deal with the troops myself.
But I'm worried about Gjalf. I know she wouldn't dare desert her duties--shards! I practically raised the girl myself!
Will you investigate Gjalf's whereabouts, your character? I hope she's not stranded in some Balaur lair or smashed flat by a ghastly golem. That blasted Amudi doesn't have the brains Aion gave a Kobold!
Quest Accept 1
To get out of Reshanta one must pass through the Primum Landing. If she had been through there, someone would have seen her. So Gjalf must still be in Reshanta.
If she teleported Mure will know. Go now and ask him if he saw my Gjalf--only don't say she's my niece, please. I don't want everyone to know she's missing just yet--not until I've had a chance to talk to her mother.
If you find Gjalf, tell Amundi. I entrust the matter to your wings.
Quest Refuse 1
It's not easy for me to reveal personal details of my family and discord in the Legions to an outsider. But I thought I could trust you.
I must have judged hastily. Kindly keep this information to yourself!
Dialog
What? You don't want to go up?
Then, what is your business with me? I'm a busy man! Get on with it.
Dialog
Yes, twice. She went up alone and came down a little later with Ganglot.
They were headed for the Grave of Steel. I told them to take more people, but they didn't listen.
They might still be in that haunted place. That priest was rather determined...he's a bit of a Qooqoo if you ask me.
Dialog
Aion's shadow Protect Us! Wh-wh-wwwhhen Governor Votan sent me here I thought I'd jjjust clear out a few lost souls and bbbbe done with it. Bu-bu-bu there are sooo many! So many!
We must send all of them bbback to the Aether. Bbbbut I see dead souls everywhere, more and more and more! Why are you here? You ddddon't look dead...yet.
Dialog
What? Why? It was Amudi who sssent Gjalf as my escort. What does he want with her nnnnow?
Gjalf found me and delivered the order when I was in Ruins of Roah for my research. Amudi pulled me off valuable research to kill these llll...lost souls. Gjalf escorted me here and has stayed to kkkkeep me sane--err...company! Nothing wrong with me, heh!
Please go back to Centurion Amundi and tell him that Gjalf is carrying out her assigned mission. I need that gggirl!
Dialog
I came here with my Legionaries after I was promoted to Centurion, Everything was chaos here--the fortress fell into Elyos hands and I...I was not myself at all!
I barely managed to survive the crush...everything was in an uproar. And now, this!
Not only have I lost Gjalf, but now I hear she's the Brigade General's niece!
Reward
I did? Hmm...yes! I did! I remember now: I was moving my men when the Governor issued an order. I sent Gjalf to take care of it--she seemed like a capable Daeva.
But I forgot to report her dispatch to the Brigade General. Shards! Now what do I do? I'm hip deep in brax patties!
Oh, Aion, I had no idea that Gjalf was kin to Jebal. Blast and shatter! How will I regain the Brigade General's trust? What a blunder I've made!
Summary
Complete
Thunder Shout Brigade General Jebal was worried that Centurion Amundi was not up to the job after Amundi reported that Legionary Gjalf was missing.
Jebal asked you to investigate and report to Amundi. You first met Mure, a layer teleporter, and asked him if he'd seen Gjalf.
Mure said he sent Gjalf and Ganglot to the Grave of Steel. You traveled there and found Gjalf with Ganglot.
When you reported back, Amundi remembered that he'd sent Gjalf to escort Ganglot.
