The fortresses in the upper layer have hidden Balaur Treasuries that are quite a bit larger than the others. Don't you find that suspicious?

I've heard that the Balaur in those chambers have strange items...perhaps weapons, perhaps devices whose purpose we could not possibly know.

I'd like to get some of those Cores of Time and Space to study. What if they're related to how the Balaur seem to teleport around at will?

You may have to look hard to get all the devices I'd like to study, but I'll reward you well.

Ranx Patrol Legate, The 38th Draconute Elite Sentry Captain, and Ranx Scout Captain have the Blue Rift Cores, while Ranx Archmage, The 38th Naga Elite High Mage, and Ranx Deathbringer have the Red Rift Cores.

And Ranx Sartip, The 38th Drakan Elite Healer Captain, and Ranx Quaestor have the White Rift Cores. Blood for blood!

Fine then, I'll ask somebody else.

The Asmodians, Elyos, and Balaur all have their own teleportation magics, but none are perfect. Whoever perfects that skill first will win this war.

If these devices could help us develop our teleportation methods...well, that's why I'd like to check them out.

These sure are strange. I'll need a lot of time to study them, I suspect.

1. Collect Cores of Time and Space and take them to Briallen.

   Blue Balic Device x3, Red Balic Device x3, White Balic Device x3

Go to the Krotan Chamber, Kysis Chamber and Miren Chamber to collect the Rift Cores for Briallen.

Briallen thought that he might be able to get something out of studying the strange devices carried by some of the Balaur in the Abyss chambers. You brought them back for him, and he rewarded you.
