Dialog
I'll find them, I swear it. Whoever killed Jafnhar, I will make them suffer.
He was a good man, strong and generous. To die like that, far from his home...it isn't right.
I know the Shugos are involved, yet they haven't the intelligence to trap someone like Jafnhar.
Dialog
No? You said yourself you saw his body. Our rules are few, but clear. Blood for blood. A life for a life.
Jafnhar would do the same for me. He has fallen, and my duty is to give him justice.
If not the Shugos, then who? Elyos spies? Perhaps even the traitorous Shadow Elders? They reach too far...
Ask Quest Accept
No, don't waste breath on their lives. Tradition and history demand a response. If it was the Shadow Elders, I'll uncover them.
We cannot reclaim his soul, but something on his person will tell us who has done this deed.
He was no wilting flower, your character, but a strong and highly talented combatant. Go back and examine his body. Even if it's only blood on his claws, we must have something to go on!
Quest Accept 1
Search that shadowless and thrice-cursed island.
Search Jafnhar's body, his surroundings, even those Shugos if need be.
There must be no doubt at all. You must find out the truth, your character, so that I may take my revenge.
Quest Refuse 1
One of our brothers is dead. His spirit calls for retribution, and you stand there, ignoring the call.
How can you stay your blade? Have you learned nothing from our history? Have the mistakes of the Elyos not taught you anything?
Leave, your character. I will discharge this duty myself.
Dialog
I warned you against returning here, your character. There is more going on here than you are aware of.
You have one chance to leave, before I forget you are a friend of Khrudgelmir.
Well, what is it? Why are you still here?
Dialog
This complicates matters, though I should have seen it coming. There's only one way to satisfy Khrudgelmir's needs, without causing further harm.
Take this Lepharist Insignia. If Khrudgelmir were to find one of their bases, he'd be doing us all a favor.
Now go, your character. You must not return again.
Dialog
My heart burns with fury, and my blades are razor sharp.
Vengeance is merely a name away...
Speak it, your character. Tell me who did this...
Reward
This time they've gone too far. If the Shadow Elders and Lepharist Revolutionaries seek open war, they'll find the legions of Asmodae massed against them!
Jafnhar's justice will not wait. I will cut deeply into their ranks--by Zikel's name I swear to find the one responsible no matter how long it takes.
your character, you've done all that was asked of you. You stepped forward and did the work our kinsmen expect. Remember--blood for blood.
Summary
Talk with Jafnhar.
Report back to Khrudgelmir.
Khrudgelmir is determined to figure out who "murdered" Jafnhar. Meet Jafnhar again and ask him what should be done.
Complete
Khrudgelmir took it upon himself to figure out who "killed" Jafnhar and swore to take revenge on whoever was responsible for his apparent death.
You returned to Jafnhar and told him what Khrudgelmir said. Jafnhar asked you to place the blame on the Lepharist Revolutionaries.
After you gave Khrudgelmir the Lepharist Insignia, he sensed that the Shadow Elders and the Lepharist Revolutionaries were readying to war against each other.
