Dialog

select1

I haven't been able to talk to anyone else about this, but something about you... I knew I could trust you.

You've already done me a huge favor, and offered me hope, but nothing is yet resolved.

Ask Quest Accept

ask_quest_accept

I know. But at the same time, I can't just sit back and let fate do everything for me.

Once some time has passed, could you check in with Kistig? I won't be able to get away, and who knows when you'll be back here again.

I want to be sure someone is there the instant he creates a cure for the curse. And he has to.... He has to....

Quest Accept 1

quest_accept_1

I'm not sure who should be more grateful right, now--me or Sinigalla.

For all my lovestruck ramblings, never forget that there's a Daeva's life at stake here. There's so much left to say to her....

Anyway, hopefully Kistig has some progress to report.

"I'll make sure either way."

Quest Refuse 1

quest_refuse_1

I know, I know. There's a war going on, there's more at stake than a single Daeva. I've heard it all from my superiors.

But if I can't protect Sinigalla, how can I protect Atreia? How can I sacrifice her on the altar of the "big picture"? She's just as worthy as life as I am.

Please, if you won't help me, at least help her.

"You need to think of Asmodae first."

Dialog

select2

Ah, Nep's friend! He's quite impatient to get the curse remedy, eh? That Legionary must be very important to the war effort.

Well, you're back just in time. There's a problem....

Dialog

select2_1

Oh, no no! In fact, I quite easily found a remedy that should work. It's very obscure, but it's more potent than anything currently in use.

It's just that...there's an odd complication.

Not long after you left, another messenger came to me requesting the same curse remedy.

Dialog

select2_1_1

Centurion Vili at Morheim Fortress. I hadn't heard of anyone else being inflicted with this curse, had you?

You came to me first, so I was noncommittal, but it'll take me quite a while to create a second batch of the remedy. But Vili's need is apparently very urgent.

You know more about this than I do. Legionary Nep and Centurion Vili both need this. Please decide who should get it first.

"Things always get complicated...."

Dialog

select3

I must admit I've been distracted of late with Sinigalla's predicament. If I'm sent into battle this way...

Hopefully, when that time comes, she and I will step into combat together, at least as comrades....

Did Kistig have something that could help her?

"Here it is. But Centurion Vili...." "Maybe Vili should have it instead...?"

Dialog

select5

What? Centurion Vili of Morheim? Then that means...

I guess there's no sense hiding it--Centurion Vili is my father. He was already a Daeva when he met my mother, so he left us long ago.

Reward

select_quest_reward1

We've reconnected recently, so he knows of my feelings for her, of course. But there's also the fact that...

Well, Sinigalla has...feelings of her own for him. He turned her down, repeatedly, but it seems she got through to him, at least a little....

Why'd Father go to Kistig, for her or for me? But what matters is that Sinigalla will live. Thank you.

Dialog

select4

Well, if it isn't your character. It's been a while since we last spoke.

I see you've been honing your skills. Good. I understand you've made quite a contribution in the Abyss as well.

But I sense this isn't a social call...?

"Here. Kistig sent this. But why...?" "Maybe I should give this to Nep...?"

Dialog

select6

Kistig is done with the remedy? Excellent! But how did you...?

What?! Oh.... And you gave this to me instead of Nep? If I'd known he was asking for this too, I never would have...

Yes, we know each other. Nep is my son. I was already a Daeva when I met his mother, so I was called here before I could really get to know him.

Reward

select_quest_reward2

I've met Sinigalla. I doubt Nep told you this, but they actually had a relationship once. It's been cooling of late, though. That's when she started pursuing me.

I don't know why. I rebuffed her, of course--I've never been the best father, but I'm not heartless.

Then I heard what happened to her in Silentera Canyon. I knew Nep had to be suffering--even if her feelings for him had changed, I knew his hadn't. So I sent for the remedy.

But now, it seems I've hurt my son once again.

Summary

quest_summary

Complete

quest_complete

Nep asked you to visit Kistig when you could to see if he found a way to break Sinigalla's petrifying curse.

When you did so, Kistig did have a remedy ready. However, Centurion Vili of Morheim Ice Fortress also had urgent need for the same remedy.

The alchemist left it up to you to decide which of the men you should deliver the remedy to.
