Delayed Order
ID 4501 questQuest Dialog 15 page(s)
Dialog
I like to restock my goods before they're in danger of running out. It increases my credibility with my customers.
Customers expect what they want to be available now, not in some unknowable future, you know?
So I placed an order for Tripeed fruits well before I would have run out.
Dialog
But the delivery date has passed, and my stock's getting dangerously low. If I should run out...well, I can scarcely imagine the consequences.
Or I can, actually. Disappointed customers refusing to shop here...going over to Shugo merchants....
In a word...catastrophe.
Ask Quest Accept
But it wouldn't be a problem if I could hire someone to pick up the Tripeed Fruit Box from Alsig Village in Morheim, and bring it back here.
I can't do it myself--I've got no one else to look after the shop. And of course when you can't fly, the trip's a lot longer.
So what do you say? I'll buy if you'll fly....
Quest Accept 1
Tekor's usually at his farm in Alsig Village. He's so conscientious ordinarily that I'm a little worried about why he hasn't sent the order.
Still, if I can't get goods on time, I may have to rethink our arrangement.
Quest Refuse 1
Well, all right. I guess not every Daeva wants to go flying off on errands for merchants.
I just want you to know it wasn't easy working up the courage to ask.
Dialog
I'd have to say life is better with Balom in control of the village. For one thing, I don't have to worry about making a living.
But for some reason, trying to keep Balom happy seems harder than working my fields.
So, what brings you here, Daeva? Not just stopping by to listen to a farmer complain, I hope.
Dialog
Yes, yes, she's been quite impatient about that order. Afraid of losing business to Shugos, I suppose.
Anyway, Virashak is taking care of orders now. I'm concentrating on managing the farm.
Virashak kept pestering Balom for a job...and ended up with mine.
Dialog
You know, I used to spend all my time complaining that I had nothing to do. Now that I have something to do, I wish I didn't.
Tekor nags me about getting orders out on time, but sometimes that's just not possible.
You aren't here to nag me too, are you?
Dialog
Yeah, I know. Lapion's been nagging me too.
But when Balom invites you to come out for a drink, well--you know how it is, Daeva. Being close to the man in power is more important than sending out a sun-poxed box of fruit.
I'm glad you're here--just makes it easier to get that order out to Lapion. So I've done my job, see?
Dialog
Do you like my outfit, your character? A Daeva of Prosperity once told me how important it is for a merchant to dress well--especially a merchant who doesn't want to lose business to those Shugos.
I hope the fact that you're back means you have my Tripeed Fruit box.
Reward
Oh, lovely! Perfectly ripe, and perfectly packed for shipping.
I wonder that they can take such care with the fruit, and yet be so inconsiderate about my order.
At any rate, no one's worked harder to get my Tripeed Fruit here than you, your character, so please take this. It's not much, but it shows my appreciation.
Summary
Complete
Lapion said that her order of Tripeed fruits hasn't arrived yet, and asked you to collect it directly from Alsig Village.
When you went to Tekor, he said he no longer sells Tripeed fruits and told you to see Virashak instead.
Virashak said he'd been delayed with important matters, and he gave you the Tripeed Fruit Box.
Lapion complained about the late delivery but said the goods were at least of high quality.
