But it's deteriorated almost beyond repair. But I've heard of an archaeologist, Rubelik, who is a master at restoring documents.

Ahem...moving on. This is a letter from Captain Hinden addressed to Esnu...which means the story of the pirate and Seirun being in love is in fact true.

I thought your mission with this document was to find the Quartz Lens. And didn't you already find and install it?

So why is he so interested in this letter now? Maybe the Quartz Lens had nothing to do with his ultimate goal. I really don't think he should have this.

I don't think Esnu knows about any of it.

I bet if we're the ones who show her that the Captain saved her life, she'd be willing to help us. With, say, getting the Golden Trumpet Temple Key.

Sleipnirr asked you for a favor involving Captain Hinden's letter.

Sleipnirr said that there must be some important information in the old letter of Captain Hinden, and requested that you ask archeologist Rubelik to restore the letter.

After restoring the letter, Rubelik said that he felt suspicious about the intention of Sleipnirr and advised you to be careful.

As Sleipnirr found out after reading the letter that Captain Hinden and a Seiren named Esnu were in love with each other, he told you to use the letter and get the Golden Trumpet Temple Key from Esnu.

After reading the letter, Esnu found out that Captain Hinden did not betray her. Instead, she showed animosity toward Aika, who had tried to kill her, and told you to kill her in return and bring her key.

Esnu, who got Aika's key, made the Key of Golden Trumpet Temple and gave it to you. She also advised you not to give the key to Sleipnirr, but you eventually gave the key to him.
