Hello Daeva, we have a problem. I've brought this up to our Temple Priests repeatedly, but nothing tangible is being done to alleviate the problem. With all due respect to them, this isn't a problem that can be solved with prayer.

We're absolutely inundated with refugees from Besfer. Undead have ravaged their village, and I don't have the manpower or the authority to launch a strike. We're so overwhelmed here with the care of the refugees that there isn't any way I could pull together a fighting force.

You seem sturdy enough. Listen, I may not be able to do anything about this, but you can. Let the priests care for the refugees, let me make sure they remain safe here. You, get out there and put a stop to this madness.

When this all started, I sent Protector of Divinity Gigrite to investigate the situation and lead refugees to us. She has not returned. With any luck you'll find her near the village and learn more about the situation.

If Gigrite is still alive, you should at least have some direction once you arrive.

Thank you.

Gigrite will be delighted to see a friendly face, I'm sure. Especially one that has skin on it.

"I'm off."

Quest Refuse 1

quest_refuse_1

Perhaps I misjudged you.

If you care nothing for the suffering of those around you, then it's best you turn and leave.

I don't want to see your face again until you change your mind.

"This isn't my fight."

AH! Oh... oh, oh good. You're alive. You move very... quietly.

Welcome to the Besfer Ghost Village, as we're calling it now. Crude, but accurate. You've come to help me, have you?

It's tragic really. From what I've found, this was simply a test site for one of Beritra's weapons. These people did nothing wrong. They just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. We can't dwell on that now.

You have a weapon? Cut down every single Pale Zombie and Infected Zombie you can find. They are not human anymore, trust me. Don't bother talking to them, just start attacking. Be quick about it, they're contagious.

Return them to the flow of Aether. Good luck.

"If it needs to be done..."

your character, is it done?

I know this isn't a permanent solution, but that's the best we can do for now. People around here seem to be saying that a lot lately....

Reward

select_quest_reward1

If we can keep there numbers down I should be able to contain them. Eventually we'll have to sweep the area and reclaim the village, but that is a fight for another day.

I will send word to Pandaemonium to see where to go from here. Thank you for lending us a hand.

Complete

quest_complete

Grundt said that as the Besfer village became a ghost town due to the assault by undeads, the residents were suffering a lot. He said that he cannot give help, but told you that a Protector of Divinity called Gigrite was dispatched from Pandaemonium and could use your help.

When you returned after destroying the Contaminated Zombies as Gigrite requested, she said that Beritra's weapon is still creating more undeads and she will look into a more fundamental solution.
